Tickets to see and hear Pope Francis in Washington this month are being made available to South Carolinians through the office of U-S Senator Tim Scott. His Holiness Pope Francis becomes the first pope to address a joint meeting of Congress when he speaks to the lawmakers at 10 a-m Thursday, September 24. Scott’s office has a limited number of standing room only tickets for constituents to watch the address live from outdoor jumbotrons on the west lawn of the U-S Capitol. Those interested in tickets should call Scott’s office at 855/425-6324. The deadline for requests is 5:30 p-m Thursday, September 17.
