Too much political drama, says one lawmaker

At the State Capital, the effort to fund the repair of South Carolina roads and bridges, along with Department of Transportation reform, is creating a lot of political drama.  Too much drama, in the opinion of one lawmaker from Greenville, Representative Phyllis Henderson.  She has balked at calls for rubber-stamping the Senate’s plan.  Henderson called “pure baloney” Governor Haley’s accusation that House members are trying to kill reform.  Thomas Alexander, Oconee-Pickens senator, and his colleagues this week are to be on the receiving end of the road bill, and he talks about what’s ahead this week in an interview airing on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
