Top Gun Jonathan Hodge

The courses that Jonathan Hodge took in college pointed him to a career in law enforcement. In his training for the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, Hodge distinguished himself with his proficiency in handling weapons. The Sheriff’s Office announces that Hodge has become the second graduate of the state Criminal Justice Academy since Sheriff Mike Crenshaw took office January 1. He is a graduate of both Walhalla High and Clemson University. At Clemson, Hodge earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Criminal Justice. At the academy, he won the Top Gun award. It goes to the cadet with the highest score on the gun range. The Sheriff’s Office has assigned Hodge to its road patrol unit.
