Train trespass incident lands Tennessean in OC Jail

For years, there has been no passenger train service for Seneca. But it was in Seneca Friday that a Nashville, Tennessee man was arrested and charged with trespassing on a Norfolk Southern freight train. The train stopped at Seneca’s E. Main and Perry Avenue and the man, Danh Van Nguyen, got off into the custody of the police. The police quoted the 57-year old Nguyen as saying he got on the train in Atlanta and was trying to get back to Tennessee. The conductor spotted him 50 freight cars to the rear. According to the police, Nguyen was seated in one of the cars as the train came to a stop shortly after 4:30 p-m.
