Trustees OK new grading scale

A new grading scale approved by the State Board of Education in Columbia is now the policy in the Oconee public school district.  The county board of trustees last night adopted a scale that, for grades 3-12, defines an A as numerical grade from 90-100.  This replaces the scale that set an A at from 93-100.  Students will want to avoid a grade of 59 or below.  That’s the equivalent of an F.
