Two spring time fishing tourneys

Oconee County can look forward to at least two large fishing tournaments next spring. At today’s meeting of the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Commission, Director Phil Shirley announced for March an FLW tourney at Lake Hartwell and a college fishing tournament at Lake Keowee. Hundred of anglers will enter, and Shirley says that means cash registers will ring at local and area hotels.
