Two young Oconeeans face multiple charges

Property and vehicle crimes last month have resulted this week in the arrests of two young Oconeeans. According to Oconee Sheriff’s Department, Blake Christian Maness, 18-year old Fair Play resident, and Ahmed Nedal Mefleh, 17, of Westminster are charged with multiple burglary, larceny, and vehicle breaking charges. Crimes reported May 25 inside the Chickasaw Point subdivision at Lake Hartwell included the thefts of cash and electronics. Maness was released from jail this morning under the terms of a $58 thousand recognizance bond. By early afternoon, Mefleh remained jailed.
