UConn Basketball coach Calhoun retiring

UConn coach Jim Calhoun has won more than 600 games while courtside in Storrs, Connecticut.

University of Connecticut men’s head basketball coach Jim Calhoun is retiring. The 70-year-old Hall of Famer was UConn’s coach for 26 years, winning three national titles and 625 games.  Add to that his earlier 14-year tenure at Northeastern, and Calhoun has a total of 873 wins in his career.
