User fees to remain unchanged

For a third year, the charge that Oconee’s three largest municipalities pay for sewer treatment will remain steady. City officials in Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster are being told today that the total treatment charge for 2014-15 will amount to $2.8 million. Though that figure doesn’t change, what does change is the percentage each of the cities will pay. Bob Winchester of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority says the new percentages are 61.73% for Seneca, 21.28% for Walhalla, and 16.99% for Westminster.
