Vote in one primary or the other

South Carolina voters this month wanting to make their voice heard in the run-up to the White House have a choice to make–other than which candidate to support.  If you are a Republican, you can vote in either primary, the Republicans on the 20th or the Democrats on the 27th.  But you can’t vote in both.  Paulette Keffas Chassin, interim chair of the Oconee Democrats, is hopeful that those county voters who consider themselves Democrats will reserve their vote this month for her party’s primary. She points out, however, that no matter which primary you vote in this month, you are free to vote for the candidate of your choice in the November General Election–regardless of that candidate’s party affiliation.
