Voter League calls for ethics reform

The League of the Women Voters of the Clemson Area keeps an open dialogue with state lawmakers, but the line of communication doesn’t always mean its members agree with how the lawmakers carry out their duties.  One example is ethics reform which the League believes lawmakers, in particular state senators, are slow to recognize how much the public wants change.  In an interview, League President Janie Shipley identified three ethical reforms that they want senators to adopt.  Those areas of reform are spelled out, as well as other public positions taken, when Shipley speaks on ‘Community Sound Off’ this Sunday on 101.7/WGOG.
