Walhalla sets public hearings

Walhalla has announced two public hearings for the evening of Thursday, March 17.  Starting at 5 o’clock the city planning commission will accept comment on a petition from Derrick Addis, requesting that a parcel at 300 Hetrick Street is annexed.  The property is south of highway 28 and east of Earle Street.  At 5:30 the board of zoning appeals will hold a hearing to allow Jerry Patterson to appeal the zoning administrator’s decision that the owner should be allowed to continue work on a manufactured home that affects property at 221 N. Laurel Street.  Documents related to the appeal and the annexation petition are available for public inspection at the City Hall office of James Ashton, fire marshal and zoning administrator.
