Weekend party “completely out of control”

Answering a noise complaint, Oconee sheriff’s officers say they shut down a large weekend party “completely out control” and arrested four young men on the charges of disorderly conduct. The party to which the deputies brought a halt took place on Seneca River Road near Martin Creek Road. The officers were called around 12:30 Sunday morning—not long after the Clemson-Florida State game. As those who were at the party began to leave, officers directed traffic and warned individuals to stay out of the roadway or be arrested. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the four arrested were repeatedly warned to stay off the roadway. It was not immediately known whether those arrested were college students.
