William Cecil Merck

William Cecil Merck, 80, of 226 Flat Shoals Road, Salem died Tuesday at GHS/Cottingham Hospice House.  He was the husband of Doris Virginia Smith. The funeral will be 2 p-m Friday at Flat Shoals Baptist Church; the burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family receives friends from 1 to 2 p-m, prior to the service, at the church.  In place of flowers, memorials may be made to William Cecil Merck Memorial Fund, PO Box 571, Walhalla, SC  29691.  The family is at the residence.
