Worker’s dismissal leads to police case

A 56-year old man in Seneca is accused of kicking and using a stick, possibly a small baseball bat, to beat a co-worker who dismissed him from his job. The police say in the incident the victim was thrown from a loading dock and lost consciousness. The police yesterday arrested Donald Paul Gentile and charged him with burglary first degree, assault and battery second degree, and malicious injury to property. Police reports say the crimes were committed November 15 at an apartment on Perry Avenue—an apartment that was connected to a contracting business where both men worked.
