Workshop Monday

Instruction will be offered next week in Pendleton on how job seekers with criminal backgrounds can clear their records. Those with criminal records living in Oconee, Anderson, and Pickens counties are invited. Greg Stewart, agent-in-charge of the Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services, in Oconee, says the workshop is designed to cover pardons and expungements. It takes place at 10 a-m Monday, October 29 in room 127 on the Pendleton campus of Tri-County Technical College. Stewart says there are differences between pardons and expungements, and all of this will be explained Monday. For those driving, parking assistance will be available from campus police.
